Put me in Coach!

Coach! I L.O.V.E. Coach Handbags, purses, clutches, wallets, shoes..and everything else on the spectrum of Coach. For me, carrying a Coach purse makes me feel expensive, and (for lack of a better word) cool. When I turned 21 my friend Lisa gave me a shimmery pink Coach clutch! That year I'm pretty sure my closet only consisted of pink blouses so that I could accessorize with it. Last year on my 25th birthday I asked for money from my parents so that I could buy myself an outrageously expensive (in my opinion) gold Coach bag. Oh how I love it. And tonight I sit here at my computer gazing at the Coach Online Catalog, and wishing I made enough money to buy every single purse on this site. Alas.. here are some lovely bags and a sexy pair of heels.

I have been blessed with a great group of friends. Friends that have insane schedules. So for our little group we kept having to push back our annual Christmas party. This past weekend they all came to my house (which still holds a fully decorated Christmas tree) to open gifts, eat and drink. Here are some highlights.

Christmas with my friends was great! I got some very lovely gifts, picture frames, books, clothes, socks, dvds, some really cute stationary, musical draydels, and candles. It was so fun to see everyone. Now this weekend hopefully I can dismantle my Christmas tree..or.. should I just leave it up? After all there is only about 11 months till next Christmas. Bonne Noel!

Charmed!

Leap Year

Tonight Lauren and I saw Leap Year. Ireland is a place I have always wanted to go, and this movie delivered plenty of scenic shots to make me want to be there even more. Amy Adams was absolutely delightful, and Matthew Goode was as cute as can be (although I am partial to an Irish accent).
Amy Adams plays a young, successful girl whose life seems to be going according to plan. Great job, great guy, great home. But when she is presented with earrings instead of an engagement ring by her beau, she decides to fly to Dublin to propose to him instead... on leap day. While en route to Ireland she meets the cute Matthew Goode who is arrogant, funny and in my opinion lovable. He shows her tough love and eventually she see's that ever aspect of her life doesn't need to be scheduled.

The movie is quite predictable, but nonetheless enjoyable. I'm sure most people who see it will think it's silly. But for me, Queen of the RomCom, it was charmingly delightful. I love that upon seeing the movie I left speaking in my best Irish accent and frantically looking for my calladagh ring to wear.

ummm.. hello!

By now its no secret that I love love love Robert Downey Jr. And this week I have pretty much been watching all his movies. Ever since I first saw him in the romcom Only You, I was hooked. Remember this:)


He is just super adorable, arrogant, cocky, funny and I'd take him whether he is wearing a pin-stripped or a orange jump - suit. Is it just me or did he age REALLY well! Remember when he was on that lovely little show Ally McBeal, and he would sing and dance. I loved it all! Oh Mr. Downey how I would love to do a movie with you! Is anyone else as stoked as I am about Ironman 2.

A treat for myself

Today I decided to treat myself to a movie. I have been dying to see the movie It's Complicated ever since I saw the trailer. I love everything Meryl Streep does, plus throw in Steve Martin and John Krasinski, I'm there! So since I couldn't find anyone to go with I went with myself.



First off let me just say how much I love all the songs they play throughout this movie. Any movie that plays songs like Benny and the Jets, Suite Judy Blue Eyes and Wouldn't It be Nice, is my kind of movie!

The movie was excellent. If I could I would give it 3 thumbs up! Meryl Streep was charming, and watching her and Steve Martin get High was HILARIOUS! Her home in the movie is exactly how my dream house would be, and anytime the heroine of a story is a chef it will always hold a special place in my heart. John Krasinski was fabulous, and is it just me or does he just keep getting cuter! I don't think I have laughed so much in a movie in a long time. Please go see this movie.. you won't be disappointed!

A fresh start to a new year!

Happy New Year Friends!

Well 2009 is over and we are hopefully on to bigger and better things in 2010. Last year was a pretty good year, I made it out alive. But I feel like 2010 is going to be great. Last night I had to work but managed to get some delicious Alaskan King Crab legs while there before heading to Eric and Chris' to watch the ball drop. We drank obscene amounts of champagne and laughed a lot and just had a good time. Then today I went home to Snellville to have a delicious dinner prepared by my Dad to ring in the new year, and it was just a nice day:)..(side note..I finally watched Wolverine Origins.. and I loved it!!...could Gambit BE any HOTTER?!!!?)


So here are my goals for this new year..

• Lose 20 pounds
  
• Be nicer
  

And here are some things I have look forward to ..

• going on my first cruise ever... to ALASKA (where I will consume even more crab legs.. I guess my first resolution isn't looking so hot)..lol
• I will be an Aunt for a 2nd time to one Brooks Edward Parker
