Painting Pals

Lauren and I went to another painting class together, we love to paint. This time it was a beach scene. I named mine... "son of a beach".

Girls Night

I have some very artsy friends.. and we love to paint. So Chrissy got some coupons for this new place Dip and Dap, and we all decided to go out and paint:) Seriously this place isn't as good as Sips and Strokes, and I wasn't so happy with my painting.. although it may look pretty good from a few miles away.

Behold I give you .. Wine Bottles.

Grandma.. I hope you like this painting cause it's your Christmas gift;) (kidding)

HAPPY HALLOWEEEEEEN~

Oh Halloween.. How I almost missed thee.

Well .. it all started when I couldn't find a costume.. but thankfully Lauren took me down to Little 5 Points to Psycho Sisters (a really cool vintage shop) and the amazing people there helped me put together a costume.

So the gang headed out for the evening. We stopped at the Day of the Dead Art Show to see some really cool coffins Eric and Chris had made.

After that we headed to The Masquerade. We danced, drinked, took pictures and they even had a fortune teller.. which you know I couldn't pass up. It was such a good time and a ton of fun to see all the great costumes out there.

Happy Halloween~

Fluffly Clouds of Words

A friend of mine showed we this site wordle.net
where you can input text to form lovely little word clouds. I was immediately fascinated with this.. ohh the possibilities. You could make really cute ones for weddings, or scrap-booking, or even just for sheer art. After fiddling around with the site for a few hours I decided to plug in the words of all the things I love. The things that make me smile. And so.. Behold... My Wordle.

Sips and Strokes

We did it again. Last night Chris, Lauren, Brit and I went down to Sips and Strokes in East Cobb. On the agenda, a white flower still life. We had a fun time but I was less than thrilled with my final result this time. Most of this painting was done via finger painting, whereas I am much more of a control freak.. I like to use a utensil. :) Alas .. here's the documentation of the evening. Do you have a Sip and Strokes near you??
