HAPPY HALLOWEEEEEEN~

Oh Halloween.. How I almost missed thee.

Well .. it all started when I couldn't find a costume.. but thankfully Lauren took me down to Little 5 Points to Psycho Sisters (a really cool vintage shop) and the amazing people there helped me put together a costume.

So the gang headed out for the evening. We stopped at the Day of the Dead Art Show to see some really cool coffins Eric and Chris had made.

After that we headed to The Masquerade. We danced, drinked, took pictures and they even had a fortune teller.. which you know I couldn't pass up. It was such a good time and a ton of fun to see all the great costumes out there.

Happy Halloween~

Pumpkin Carving Time!

Remember last year when I carved that awesome werewolf pumpkin.. well this year I did an equally awesome skull and crossbones. We all gathered at the White House, and gutted those pumpkins, carved and then had the obligatory photoshoot.

Back to Hollywood for Craig

Our group made a new friend this year.. Craig. He works in LA (in the movie biz) and is currently in Atlanta working on a movie. He has been adopted by our little group and we have been trying to keep him busy here and having fun. So in his last days in the Atl. Craig treated us all to dinner at everyone's favorite burger joint.. The VORTEX! Lots of fun was had and we will all be sad to see Craig go.

Shameless plug.. Craig is working on the movie Fast and Furious 5.. go out and see it! Summer of 2011. ;)

Mini Golf and a Shake

Everyone loves to mini-golf... especially Me, Lauren and Craig. So we drove down to Pirates Cove Mini-Golf for a round. I am sad to say that I didn't win.. but it was still a lot of fun. Congrats to Lauren on her score. Although I'm pretty sure she cheated. ;)

~LOL.. I show Craig how it's done~
We then headed to Steak and Shake for my favorite chocolate shake in town.

TAP

Lauren and I have decided to once a month try a new and exciting restaurant. We always seem to eat at the same places we love so we are trying to mix it up a bit. TAP was the restaurant of choice. We started with a bottle of wine, some shrimp toastadas, and then I had the fish & chips. Oh I love fish & chips although the best in town is at Fado. It was still a fun night and a really cute restaurant.

After dinner we walked down to our new friend Craig's Hotel for some Champagne and to celebrate Brittany's new job! Woot Woot!

Right Round House Kick to the Head!

Its been a while I suppose.. So here's whats been happening.

1st up.. I have been KICKBOXING! It is sooo much fun and I seriously feel like I could beat the crap out of someone, which fills me with a great sense of satisfaction. Sorry for the blurry photo but.. you get the point. If you need a good workout try kickboxing.

ZOMBIE WALK 2010

Zombie Walk. Cause who doesn't love tearing up clothing, spitting fake blood on each other and walking through downtown Atlanta. Last year I did it with Eric, Chris and Brandon, and it seems that it has become tradition. It was pretty cold and rainy this year, but was still fun!

At the Fair!

The last time I went to a fair I was in the 9th grade, and I all I remember is I won a goldfish and my mom was not to pleased with me bringing it home.

This time I went with Lauren, Brittany and Craig (who we adopted while he is in town working on the movie Fast and the Furious 5). We rode a few rides, I ate my blue snow cone and funnel cake, we got ripped off on playing some games, and got a caricature of us done (which was pretty much an epic fail). But it was still a good time.

BINGO!

Bingo... America's favorite past-time. I adore everything about Bingo. Dobbers, gambling, winning.. well that's about it. Last night the gang (you know Danny, Sandy, Rizzo, Putsy..the gang), all went to the Jungle to play a very special Bingo, hosted by everyone's favorite Drag Queen....Bubba Dee-licious. It was sports night so I was wearing my favorite Pen's T-Shirt.. (circa 5th grade).

~Me and Jenny.. Pen's fans for life~

After losing most of the night I finally hit a Bingo. The winnings would have been $100 dollars, but 2 other people hit too. So I took home $33.334544536 dollars. Not too shabby.

30 and Fabulous!

This past weekend we celebrated Lauren's 30th Birthday! We started the day by driving around to a few Atlanta landmarks so Lauren could do what she loves most. Photoshoot! We went to see the Olympic Torch, The Varsity, Little 5 Points, The Clermont Lounge, and the to the Highlands. We stopped along the way for a few pre-dinner shots. Then it was onto dinner at El Taco.

We ate massive amounts of salsa, queso, guacamole, and tacos. Drank even more than we ate. Opened Presents, and ate beautifully decorated cupcakes (provided by myself).

After dinner it was on to Hand and Hand to meet up with some more friends and drink until the wee hours of the morning.

Happy Birthday Poppet! 30 never looked so good! xoxo

Amanda vs. Food

Tonight my friends and I drove up to Kennesaw to eat at the famous Big Pie in the Sky. A pizzeria that has been made famous by their epic 30" pie. Once featured on an episode of Man v. Food, the challenge being able to eat in a 2 hour sitting this XL pizza covered in 3 lbs of meat. The Carnivore Challenge.

While I didn't attempt to eat this whole pizza, I barely managed to eat one whole slice. The pizza was delicious! The wait was long, and tables are hard to come by. But it was well worth it.

Happy Birthday Jessica

This past weekend we celebrated my friend Jessica's birthday! We started out at Twist for some drinks, sushi and tapas. This was my first time at Twist and I was really impressed. My sangria was delicious, and I had a lovely little Caesar Salad and a Turkey Panini with avacado, bacon and melted cheese. OH IT WAS SOO GOOD! Lauren took on her role as paparazzi famously.

After dinner we went to the Havana Club in Buckhead for some more drinks and some dancing. I made some new friends and just had a GREAT time.

Thank you Jessica! Hope your birthday was FABULOUS!
